At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 5th day of March 1984

THE RIGHT HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities, and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960:
And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has petitioned His Excellency the Governor-General that certain land be included in the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District;
Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order 1984.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984. -
Inner Area extended—The boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby altered so as to include the land described in the Schedule to this order.

Determination of financial obligations—The financial obligations and assessment under the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 of the Manukau City Council with respect to the land described in the Schedule to this order shall be determined on and from the 1st day of April 1984.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Manukau bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of part Lot 10, D.P. 25968 in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of the said part Lot 10, and its production to the eastern side of Roscommon Road; thence southerly along that roadside to the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 83859; thence westerly along that boundary and its production to the western side of Roscommon Road; thence southerly along that roadside to the easternmost corner of part Lot 10, D.P. 25968; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of that part Lot 10 to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Marlborough County - Picton Borough Boundaries Alteration Order 1984.
(2) Except as provided in subclause (3) of this clause, this order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.
(3) Clause 6 (2) of this order shall come into force on the day after the date of notification of this order in the Gazette. -
Boundaries of Marlborough County and Picton Borough altered—The boundaries of Marlborough County and Picton Borough are hereby altered by excluding from Marlborough County and including in Picton Borough the area described in the Schedule to this order (hereinafter referred to as “the said area”).

Transfer of powers, functions and other responsibilities—The Picton Borough Council, in respect of the said area:
(a) Shall have and may exercise and be responsible for all the powers, duties, acts of authority, and functions which were previously exercised, or which would have been so
