Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

PURSUANT to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977 and by reason of an error made in the notice hereinafter described, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Reserve, dated 6 December 1983 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 December 1983, No. 213, page 4369, and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place, and further, that the fresh notice herein shall take effect from 1 March 1984.

SCHEDULE
CLASSIFICATION OF RESERVE

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a local purpose (stock resting) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto as local purpose (cemetery) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification of Reserve and Appointment of the Marlborough Catchment and Regional Water Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for local purpose (site for a pumping station), subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, hereby appoints the Marlborough Catchment and Regional Water Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for local purpose (site for a pumping station).

Classification of Reserve and Appointment of the Picton Borough Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, hereby appoints the Picton Borough Council to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provision of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Excluding Part of Land From a Maori Reservation

WHEREAS by notice in the New Zealand Gazette dated 28 August 1980, No. 103, page 2569, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, was set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an Urupa and accessway to the Urupa for the common use and benefit of the present owners and their descendants; and where it is proposed to exclude part of the said land from the said Maori reservation.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) (a) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, that part of the said reservation described in the Schedule hereto being the accessway to the Urupa is hereby excluded from the said Maori reservation.
