The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard
Specification Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965,
notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard
specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5422 The use of LPG and CNG fuels in internal combustion
engines—Part 1: LPG fuel. $15.
This draft Standard is a revision of NZS 5422: Part 1:1980 and
was prepared at the request of the Ministry of Energy supported
by the Ministry of Transport.
Information and data throughout the Standard have been updated
in an endeavour to maintain a level consistent with the current
state of New Zealand’s experience with the application and
operation of internal combustion engines using LPG as a fuel.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who
desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the price
shown, from the Standards Association of New Zealand,
Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag),
Wellington.
NOTE—Payment must accompany all requests for drafts.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 9 March 1984.
