Declaring Stopped Road to be Disposed of in the District of Hawera

PURSUANT to section 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares the stopped road described in the Schedule hereto to be vested in Brendan Thomas Kavanagh (as to a one-fifth share), Patrick Brendan Kavanagh (as to a two-fifths share) and Thomas Joseph Kavanagh (as to a two-fifths share) all of Hawera, farmers, as tenants in common in the shares stated.

Amending a Notice Declaring Road Stopped in Block IV, Makotuku Survey District, Waimarino County

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 8th day of December 1983, published in the Gazette of 15 December 1983, No. 213, at page 4360, declaring road stopped in Block IV, Makotuku Survey District, Waimarino County, by omitting the First and Third Schedules thereto, and substituting the following:

Land Acquired for a Limited Access Road in Block VI, Piako Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to sections 20 and 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a limited access road and has become road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the 1st day of March 1984.

Declaring Land and Easement over Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block XV, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 1st day of March 1984, and further declares that, an easement (right of way) is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Crown (called the grantee) on the 1st day of March 1984, a right of way over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be forever appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule such grant being in accordance with paragraph 1 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, subject to the grantee being responsible for any maintenance in respect of its activities required on the said easement area and together with the right of the grantee (1) to prohibit the planting of trees or crops or the erecting of any buildings on the said easement areas and (2) to construct and maintain access over the right of way.
