PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve.

Revocation of Reservation
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Approval of Hospitals for the Purposes of Section 16 (1) of the Medical Practitioners Act 1968
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 16 of the Medical Practitioners Act 1968, the Minister of Health, acting on the recommendation of the Medical Council, hereby approves of the hospitals specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, and controlled in each case by the authority indicated in respect thereof in the first column of that Schedule, as hospitals in which any person who is for the time being conditionally registered under that Act may practise medicine or surgery.
This notice amends the notice of approval of hospitals published in the Gazette of 1982, No. 87, p. 2511, and that notice is hereby revoked.

Declaration of a State of Civil Defence Emergency for the Southland Region
PURSUANT to section 51 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Eve Poole hereby declare a state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency to be in force in the Southland region. The state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency has been declared in order to enable the exercise of the powers conferred by all of sections 60 to 64 of the Civil Defence Act 1983. The state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency shall come into force on the time and date of the making of this declaration.
