NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 18 (5) of the Companies Act 1955 (as substituted by section 7 of the Companies Amendment Act No. 2, 1983) of a general meeting of the company called for the purpose of proposing as a special resolution a resolution for the alteration of the provisions of the memorandum of the company with respect to the objects and powers of the company.
The resolution to be proposed at the meeting is as follows:
That pursuant to section 18 of the Companies Act 1955 as substituted by section 7 of the Companies Amendment Act No. 2, 1983, the memorandum of the company be altered by adding thereto after paragraph 3 (a) the following paragraph by way of addition to the objects of the company:
‘3 (aa) To carry on the business of dairy farmers, sheep and cattle farmers, pig farmers, deer farmers, goat farmers, horticulturalists, market gardeners, orchardists, growers of crops, and generally the business of farming in all or any of its branches, and to buy, sell, lease develop and otherwise deal in farms and farm land of whatever nature or description.’”
The meeting will be held at the offices of Messrs C. Kennedy & Co., Solicitors, McGill’s Building, corner Robert and Walton Streets, Whangarei, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of January 1985 at 10 a.m.
