(a) Exemption of (i) all unassembled motor vehicles in CKD form, and (ii) parts and accessories not manufactured in New Zealand; and
(b) Amendments to existing exemptions to maintain alignment with the Customs Tariff.
Notice by Examiner of Commercial Practices of Consents to Merger and Takeover Proposals
PURSUANT to section 72(6) of the Commerce Act 1975, notice is hereby given that the Examiner of Commercial Practices has consented to the following merger and takeover proposals.

Proposal
Lion Breweries may acquire the chattels and wet and dry stock of the Oriental Tavern, Dunedin
Chemby Industries Ltd. may increase its shareholding in Annett & Darling Ltd. from 49 to 100 percent
Palfinger Hydraulik may acquire 170 000 ordinary Group C shares in the capital of Hydraulic Machinery (Manufacturing) Company Ltd.
Dominion Breweries Ltd. may acquire plant, furniture, chattels and stock in trade of Waipiata Tavern, Waipiata
