Provided that all other components of the CNG fuel system fitted to the said vehicle are comprised of components approved for use in CNG fuel systems and are installed in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 2, 1980.

This approval for experimental purposes shall be limited for the period up to and including 30 March 1985.

Approval of Organisation Conducting Defensive Driving Course

PURSUANT to section 39A of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the New Zealand Defensive Driving Council as an incorporated organisation that conducts courses available to persons in respect of whom orders disqualifying them from holding or obtaining a drivers licence have been made by any Court.

The Traffic (Thames Coromandel District) Notice No. 1, 1984

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames Coromandel District) Notice No. 1, 1984.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 14th day of May 1975*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is hereby revoked.

So much of the Traffic (Thames Coromandel District) Notice No. 2, 1976, dated the 16th day of December 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads situated within Thames Coromandel District at Moana Point is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Thames Coromandel District at Whangamata:

All that area at Whangamata bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of the No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) 500 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State Highway from Achilles Avenue; thence southerly by a right line to the northern bank of the Otahu River; thence easterly generally along the said bank of the said river to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence northerly generally along the said shore to the mouth of the Whangamata Harbour; thence north-westerly generally along the shore of the said harbour to the mouth of the Moanaanuau River; thence south-westerly generally along the eastern bank of the said river to the eastern side of the No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel); thence south-easterly generally along the eastern side of the said State Highway to a point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State Highway from Whangamata Port Road; thence across the said State Highway at right angles from its eastern side; thence south-westerly and southerly generally along the western side of the said State Highway to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State Highway from Achilles Avenue; thence across the said State Highway at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence south-westerly generally along the eastern side of the said State Highway for 400 metres to the commencing point.

The Traffic (Tauranga City and Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1984

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga City and Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1984.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Tauranga City and Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1982, dated the 19th day of April 1982†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga City:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the northern end of the Hairini Bridge to a point 100 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the southern confluence of the said State Highway with the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere); and from the north-eastern boundary of Tauranga City on the Maungatapu Peninsula to a point 180 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the said boundary; and from the western boundary of Tauranga City to a point 200 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Jonathan Street.

No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere): from the southern boundary of Tauranga City to a point 160 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Welcome Bay Road.

Cambridge Road: from a point 380 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Welcome Bay Road from Townhead Crescent to the south-western boundary of Tauranga City.

Cameron Road: from the southern boundary of Tauranga City to Oban Road.

Kaitemako Road.

Ohauiti Road: from Welcome Bay Road to a point 120 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Har risfield Drive.

Oropi Road: from a point 160 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Chadwick Road to No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere).

Poike Road: from No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) to Ohauiti Road.

Rangamui Road.

Waitaha Road.

Welcome Bay Road: from the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) to the eastern boundary of Tauranga City.

Windemere Drive.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga City:
