The identification reference to the application number indicates the office to which any objections should be made.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the above office on or before 10th January 1985. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;

(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;

(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

PURSUANT to section 72 (6) of the Commerce Act 1975, notice is hereby given that the Examiner of Commercial Practices has consented to the following merger and takeover proposals.

Lion Breweries Ltd. may acquire the chattels and wet and dry stock of the Railway Hotel, Nightcaps

Kupe Petroleum No Liability or any subsidiary thereof may acquire all the issued shares in Metropolitan Life Assurance Company of N.Z. Ltd.

Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire up to 100 percent of the ordinary issued capital of Abels Industries Ltd.

Cable Price Downer Ltd. may acquire 4.4 million share options in Dalgety Crown Corporation Ltd.
