5480 THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE No. 227
A84/246 Christchurch Transport Board, Christchurch: Amend the routes on the Passenger Service Licence listed hereunder to the extent shown.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4409: Avonhead Service.
The Avonhead service will be extended along Woodbury and Ansonby Streets.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4405: Dallington Service.
On some trips, the Dallington service will be extended along Gayhurst Road and Coopers Road terminating in Coopers Road near Bampton Street.
Passenger Service Licence 0720: Hornby Via Hei Hei Service.
On some trips, the Hornby via Hei Hei service will be amended. Buses will travel via present route to the corner of Gilberthorpes and Waterloo Roads, then along Waterloo Road, Carmen Road, Main South Road, and Chalmers Street to the present terminus.
Passenger Service Licence 4409: Marshland Road Service.
An additional service to New Brighton will be introduced. On some trips buses will travel to Oram Avenue via Beach Road, Effingham Street, Marine Parade and Beresford Street.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4422: Papanui - Cranford Street - Northcote Service.
An additional service to Northcote will be introduced. On some trips Papanui and Cranford Street buses will travel via Main North Road, Sawyers Arms Road, then along Highsted Road to the terminus at the corner of Highsted and Claridges Roads.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4418: Shoppers Bus - Shirley Shopping Centre.
In conjunction with the Marshland Road service, a Shoppers Bus to the Shirley Shopping Centre will be introduced. On some trips buses will travel to the shopping centre via Briggs Road, Innes Road, Mahars Road, Westminster Street, Aylesford Street, Hills Road and Shirley Road. Buses will then continue via New Brighton Road, Kingsford Street, Alice Street, Queensbury Street, New Brighton Road, Fleete Street, McBratneys Road, Gayhurst Road, Coopers Road, Bampton Street, and New Brighton Road returning to the shopping centre on Golf Links Road.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4406: Somerfield Service.
The Somerfield route will be extended along Cashmere Road, terminating at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4421: Spreydon Service.
The leg of the Spreydon route along Coronation Street and Simeon Street will be deleted. The new route will begin as the present route does as far as Selwyn Street, buses will then travel along Selwyn Street, Somerfield Street, Barrington Street, Athelstan Street, Everard Street, Milton Street and Simeon Street to the terminus on Athelstan Street.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4418: St Albans Park Service.
From the corner of Kensington Avenue and Innes Road, the Ranger Street leg will be amended to run via Innes Road, Mahars Road, Kellys Road and Ranger Street terminating at the corner of Jameson Avenue and Weston Road. The Hills Road leg will be re-routed from the corner of Barbados Street and Edgeware Road. Buses will travel along Edgeware Road, Hills Road, Shirely Road, Emmett Street, Briggs Road, Hills Road and Westminster Street. Buses will return via Manuka Street, Innes Road, the reverse route to the city.
Passenger Service Licence No. 4406: St Martins - Huntsbury Service.
The St Martins and Huntsbury routes will be amalgamated. Buses will travel via the present route as far as Wilsons Road then via Gamblins Road, St Martins Road and Centaurus Road to the present St Martins terminus. Some buses will continue to Huntsbury, returning to the city via the St Martins route.
Passenger Service Licence No. 0720: Templeton Service.
An additional service for the Parker Street area will be introduced. On some trips, buses will travel via the present route as far as Chalmers Street, then continue along Carmen Road, Main South Road, Parker Street and Waterloo Road. They will then proceed by present route to Templeton.
Passenger Service Licence No. 44021: Wainoni Service.
The Woodham Road and Kerrs Road section of the route will be deleted. Wainoni buses will travel via the present route to the corner of Woodham Road and Ngarimu Street. Buses will travel along Ngarimu Street, Avonside Drive, Torlesse Street, Holland Street, Durnarnan Street, Kerrs Road, then continue via the present route.
Some buses will run to Brighton via the above route to the corner of Palmers and New Brighton Roads. They will then continue along New Brighton Road, Seaview Road, Hardy Street, and Beresford Street to Oram Avenue.

The Standards Act 1965—Overseas Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned overseas specification is being considered for declaration as a New Zealand specification.
Number and Title of Specification
AS 1753:1983 Webbing for restraining devices for occupants of motor vehicles. $21.50
The 1975 edition of AS 1753 was adopted in New Zealand as NZS 5432:1981 and it is now proposed that AS 1753:1983 should be declared as NZS 5432:1985.
This standard specifies requirements for webbing for restraining, devices. It provides classification, material and construction, testing, identification of each roll of webbing, and packaging requirements. Methods of test are given in the appendices.
This 1983 edition provides a full matrix of webbing widths and dry breaking forces, so that although some classes are not currently called for there are now 26 classes of webbing provided instead of the 9 in the previous 1975 edition.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 733/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 733:1966 Electric jugs with non-metallic bodies. Gratis.
This draft amendment will authorise the use of appliance couplers complying with recognised standards in addition to NZS 1801:1963, and will delete reference to heating elements having bare conductors immersed in water as this type will no longer be approved by the Secretary of Energy under regulation 107 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

Notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned New Zealand standard specifications have been recommended for revocation pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965.
