Natural Gas (Price Restraint) Regulations 1981

Applicant: Natural Gas Corporation.

Application: Increased price for natural gas

Decision: In terms of the powers granted me under section 6 of
the Natural Gas (Price Restraint) Regulations 1981, I hereby approve
the following maximum price from 1 December for natural gas sold
by the Natural Gas Corporation to the Auckland Gas Company
Limited, Hamilton City Council, New Plymouth City Council, Levin
Borough Council, Hawera Gas Company Limited, Wanganui City
Council, Palmerston North City Council, Wellington Gas Company
Limited and the Hutt Valley Energy Board to be increased to:

231.436 cents a gigajoule.

The Energy Resources Levy is included.

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 104 of the Commerce
Commission dated 3 December 1984. By this decision the
Commission determined to consent to the merger or takeover
proposal whereby Carrier Corporation or a wholly owned subsidiary
or nominee acquires 100% of the share capital of Zonepak (1984)
Limited.

The Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County) Notice
No. 1, 1984

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation
from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation
from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief
Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and
Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1984.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to
regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County) Notice
No. 1, 1976, dated the 11th day of November 1976† issued pursuant
to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulations 27 and
27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ngaruawahia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the north-western boundary of Nga-
ruawahia Borough to a point 320 metres measured south-easterly
and southerly generally along the said road from the said boundary.

Old Taupiri Road: from the northern boundary of Ngaruawahia
Borough to a point 150 metres measured northerly generally along
the said road from Ngaere Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ngaruawahia Borough and Waikato County adja-
cent to Ngaruawahia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Belt Street to the south-
eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough.

Old Taupiri Road: from a point 150 metres measured northerly
generally along the said road from Ngaere Street to a point 790
metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Ngaere
Street.

Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice
No. 5 1984.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of sec-
tion 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to
regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1984, dated the 28th
day of August 1984†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is
hereby revoked.
