Resumption of Duties by the Governor-General
His Excellency the the Governor-General announces that he returned from Niue at 9.12 p.m. on Sunday, 21 October and has resumed the performance of all the functions of the office of Governor-General.
Accordingly, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, G.B.E., C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, who assumed office as the Administrator of the Government as from 10.15 a.m. on the 19th day of October 1984 (as evidenced by a notice published in the Gazette* and dated the 19th day of October 1984), has relinquished office as the Administrator of the Government. (By Command).
