Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 8) 1984–85
PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

(a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 8) 1984–85.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 19th day of October 1984. -
Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

Goods of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Third Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of Australia, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, included in the exemption notices shown in the Fourth Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.

The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Fifth Schedule hereto, included in the exemption notice shown in the Fifth Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Sixth Schedule hereto imported from and being the produce or manufacture of Australia, included in the exemption notices shown in the Sixth Schedule are hereby withdrawn.

Sacks and bags of a kind used for the packing of goods including wool packs (other than sacks and bags of woven polyethylene or polypropylene fabric)
