NOTE—Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the said petition must serve on, or send by post to, the above-named, notice in writing of his intention to do so. The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the High Court at Invercargill, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 31st day of October 1984.

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on 28 August 1984 at Christchurch was 368.78 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).
As this price is above the Wool Board’s Substitute Payment Scheme minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) no supplement is payable on wool until further notice.
There is likewise no grower retention levy payable in terms of section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, as the A.W.A.S.P. is less than the ruling trigger price of 500 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

MARTINBOROUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Martinborough Borough Council hereby gives notice of intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of the Borough water supply. The taking of the said land is essential to ensure the continuity of water supply to the Borough of Martinborough. Objections to the proposed taking of the land (other than by persons who have personally been served with a copy of this notice) may be made by delivering or posting the same to the offices of the Martinborough Borough Council, Cork Street, Martinborough, to arrive no later than the 9th day of November 1984. A plan showing the area of land affected may be inspected at the offices of the Martinborough Borough Council. The owner of the land affected is Martinborough Holdings Limited.

THAT area of land situated adjacent to the Martinborough-Masterton Road at Martinborough being situate in the Wellington Land Registration District and being that area of land situate in Block X Huaranga Survey District and being also part Sections 1, 95 and 96 Wharekaka District and being also part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 580 and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 11A, folio 426 (Wellington Registry), being more particularly that area of land containing by admeasurement approximately 9800 square metres and being part of the old bed of the Huaranga River, part of the land adjacent thereto, the existing pumphouse site and building together with the metalled access track thereto from the Martinborough-Masterton Road, and together with the existing pipelines, as the same are more particularly marked with the letters A, B, C and D on the plan at the Martinborough Borough Council Chambers.

TAKE notice that the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, the National Museum and the National War Memorial intends to promote a private act of Parliament which has the following objects.
The promoter of the bill is the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, the National Museum and the National War Memorial whose postal address is care of Messrs Bell Gully Buddle Weir, Solicitors, P.O. Box 1291, Wellington, to which communications or notices to the promoter may be sent.
A copy of the proposed bill together with a copy of the Will dated 27 November 1926 may be inspected during week between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the offices of Bell Gully Buddle Weir, Europa House, 109–117 Featherston Street, Wellington.
