Import Licence Tendering—Call for Tenders: Round 12
PURSUANT to the Import Control Regulations 1973 (S.R. 1980/246), the Secretary of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority is calling tenders for the goods specified below.
All licence offered for tender in this round is for world wide sources of supply.
Instructions for tenderers and the general terms and conditions which apply to the submission and acceptance of tenders are set out in the Guide to Licence Tendering dated January 1984. Tenders should be address to the Registrar of Tenders, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington, or be delivered by hand to the First Floor of the Bowen State Building, Wellington. Tenders must reach the Registrar no later than 5 p.m. on 5 March 1984.
NOTE:
- Tenderers should refer to the Customs Tariff and the Import Licensing Schedule for a definite description of the goods included in the list above.
- Tenderers should be conversant with the various statutes and regulations which importing enterprises are obliged to comply with, such as the Food and Drug Regulations 1973, Safety Standards, Duties and Sales Tax, etc., where relevant.
- Tenderers are reminded to use a separate tender form for each tender number. Bids may be sent in one envelope. The envelope should be marked Import Licence Tender. Tenders will be accepted through the Bureaufax system of the Post Office.
PLASTICS INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
NOTE: Successful tenderers under the Plastics Industry Development Plan are required to return the import licence usage forms which will be posted to them. Failure to do so may lead to no further bids being accepted.
