The ecumenical funeral service for Sir (Edward) Denis Blundell, G.C.M.G., G.C.V.O., K.B.E., Q.S.O., Governor-General of New Zealand 1972–1977, will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, the 1st day of October 1984, at Saint Paul’s Cathedral, Wellington, at the conclusion of which, the cortege will proceed via Molesworth Street, Lambton Quay, and Willis Street, to Ghuznee Street, thereafter to a private service at the Crematorium Chapel, Rosehaugh Avenue, Karori, Wellington.
