Christchurch City Council Appointed to Control and Manage Rutherford Street Cemetery

DAVID BEATTIE, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Christchurch City Council to have the control and management of the Rutherford Street Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, as from the 1st day of October 1984.

SCHEDULE

RUTHERFORD STREET CEMETERY

A1.1. that area of land containing First 483 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1 of Deposited Plan 9422 and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 421, folio 230; and Second 1.1576 hectares, more or less, being part of Rural Section 14 and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 378, folio 269, Canterbury Registry.

As witness the Hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, signed this 6th day of September 1984.

Electrical Supply Regulations 1984

I, Robert James Tizard, Minister of Energy hereby determine pursuant to Regulation 24 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1984 that:

f is to be a factor with the following values:

8 for consumption up to 15 000 kWh per annum per consumer, and

6 for further consumption in excess of 15 000 kWh per annum per consumer.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, I, Robert James Tizard, Minister of Energy, do hereby declare and give the following notice.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 10 May 1984 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Aratapu Hotel, Northland.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday—Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(a) On any Friday and Saturday and Christmas Eve—Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any New Year’s Eve—The hotel shall close at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
