Declaring an Area of Land in the Hawke’s Bay Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area of land known as Puahanui Bush described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953, and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the day on which the Proclamation is notified in the Gazette.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT—WAIPAWA DISTRICT
Puahanui Bush
AN area of land of 125.6526 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 9399, situated in Block IX, Maraekakaho Survey District. Part certificate of title 173/75. Marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 8337.
Given under the hand of the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of January 1984.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of February 1984

THE RIGHT HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Dunedin Rural Fire District Order 1949, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Dunedin Rural Fire District Order made on the 9th day of March 1949* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

This order shall come into force from the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Silverpeaks County and Dunedin City containing approximately 16250 hectares situated in Blocks I, II, III, IV, and X, Silverpeak Survey District, Blocks III, VIII, and XI, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, Blocks II, III, IV, V, and VI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, Blocks XIII and XIV, East Taieri Survey District and Wakari Survey District and bounded by a line commencing at Silver Peak Trig on Pulpit Rock on the northern boundary of Block X, Silverpeak Survey District and bounded generally as follows:
Towards the north by Section 2, Block V, Silverpeak Survey District; towards the east and north by Section 10, Block XI,
