Transport Licensing Authority Sittings

PURSUANT to sections 120 and 121 of the Transport Act 1962, as amended by the Transport Amendment Act (No. 2), the No. 9 Transport District Licensing Authority (D. L. Hogan) gives notice of the receipt of the following application, and will hold a public sitting in the Conference Room, Ministry of Transport, corner Cashel and Montreal Streets, Christchurch on Monday, 10 September 1984, at 10.30 a.m., to hear evidence for or against the granting of it:

A84/114, Newmans Coach Lines Limited, Christchurch, New Passenger Service Licence to carry on a scheduled service operation over a specified route between Christchurch and Dunedin and vice versa for:

(1) The carriage of passengers and
(2) The cartage of goods for hire and reward in any passenger service vehicle.

The application involves an exemption from section 109 of the Transport Act 1962.
