PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (site for Pest Destruction Board buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Setting Apart General Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the General land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby to be included in the present Maori reservation known as Lots 5 and 6, Block XI, D.P. 223, part section 7, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred which was set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a site for a meeting house for the common use and benefit of Maoris resident at Bluff, Stewart Island and Ruapuke Island by New Zealand Gazette, 1952, page 378.

Declaring Railway Land at Waipara Now Disposed of for the Purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby disposed of for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, and shall vest in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission.

The Porirua College Board of Governors Notice 1977: Amendment No. 1 (1984)

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Porirua College Board of Governors Notice 1977, Amendment No. 1 (1984) and shall be read together and deemed part of the Porirua College Board of Governors Notice 1977 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Clause 2 of the principal notice is hereby varied to read as follows:

(a) Paragraph (d) is hereby deleted. The member elected pursuant to clause 2 (d) shall continue in office until the 31st day of July 1986 upon which date his term of office shall expire.

(b) A new paragraph (d) is hereby substituted and shall read as follows:

“One member appointed by the school committee of Brandon State Intermediate School”. The term of office of the first member appointed pursuant to this paragraph shall commence on the 1st day of August 1986.

(c) A new paragraph (g) is hereby added and shall read as follows:

“One member appointed by the school committee of Waitangirua State Intermediate School”. The term of office of the first member elected pursuant to this paragraph shall commence on the 1st day of August 1986.
