and Moffat Peak; thence westerly along that right line to Moffat
Peak; thence westerly along a right line to Mount Eglington; thence
generally northerly along the summit of the Earl Mountains to the
intersection with the production of a right line through Castle
Mountain and Cloudy Pass, Bligh Sound (Grid Reference 573943,
NZMS 1. Sheet S121); thence north-westerly along that right line
to the mean high water mark on the eastern shore of Bligh Sound;
thence generally south-westerly and south-easterly along the mean
high water mark of the sea crossing the mouths of all rivers and
estuaries to the point of commencement, including herein all adjacent
islands within all inlets, bays, and sounds along that portion of the
sea coast hereinbefore described.

The Traffic (Cromwell Borough) Notice No. 1, 1984
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation
from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation
from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief
Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:
NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cromwell Borough) Notice
No. 1, 1984.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to
regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The Traffic (Cromwell Borough) Notice No. 1, 1982, dated the
16th day of December 1982β , issued pursuant to section 52 of the
Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations
1976 is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Cromwell Borough:
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton via Alexandra): from a point
20 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said highway from
Antrim Street to Gair Avenue.
Gair Avenue
McNulty Road: from a point 215 metres measured westerly,
generally, along the said road from Barry Street to the No. 6 State
Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth).
SITUATED within Cromwell Borough:
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton via Alexandra): from a point
20 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway
from Antrim Street to Gair Avenue.
Gair Avenue: from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton via
Alexandra) to a point 50 metres measured south westerly, generally,
along Gair Avenue from Waenga Drive.

Approval of Motorcycle Riding School
PURSUANT to regulation 19D (5) of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1964*, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport,
I, Arthur John Healy, Secretary for Transport, hereby approve the
motorcycle riding school listed in the Schedule hereto to the effect
that it may issue certificates of riding instruction to enable a person
to obtain a full licence to drive a motorcycle in accordance with
regulation 19D of the said regulations:

Declaration of Vehicle with Motorcycle Controls to be a
Motorcycle
PURSUANT to section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant
to an instrument of delegation dated the 29th day of September
1983, the Chief Controller, Land Transport Policy hereby declares
that the vehicle described in the Schedule attached hereto is a
motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.
