Notice as Required by the Gas Act 1982 of Franchises Granted

PURSUANT to section 24 (7) of the Gas Act 1982, a description of the areas of the franchises granted under that section for the supply of gas are hereby published.

The Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Ltd.

All that area in the counties of Waikato, Matamata, Waipa and Otorohanga and Waitomo District excluding the gas franchise areas of the Hamilton City Council and the Huntly Borough Council - Hamilton City Council joint venture.

Hamilton City Council

All that area within a radius of 16 kilometres from the Chief Post Office, Victoria Street, Hamilton and that area between the above and the area around the Huntly Borough supplied by the Hamilton City Council and Huntly Borough Council joint venture already defined in the New Zealand Gazette dated 6 October 1983, No. 165, page 3337. The area being bounded on the west side by a direct line from the intersection of the 16 km radius and the Whatawhata Road and the 8 km radius and Gunn Road and on the east side by a direct line from the intersection of the 16 km radius and Holland Road and the 8 km radius and P.O. access road except for a segment to the east of Hamilton from a direct line drawn from the intersection of Holland and Piako Roads to the intersection of the Matangi and Woodside Roads and from Matangi/Woodside intersection to the intersection of Forrest and Hooker Roads.

Road Transport Industry Training Board Notice 1975, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Vocational Training Council Act 1982, the Minister of Labour hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Road Transport Industry Training Board Notice 1975, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with the deemed part of the Road Transport Industry Training Board Notice 1975* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 14th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Clause 2 amended—(1) Clause 2 (1) of the principal notice is hereby amended—

(a) By omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(a) Two members appointed by the President of the Road Transport Council.

(b) By adding after paragraph (e) the following paragraphs:

“(f) One member appointed by the Bus and Coach Association of New Zealand.
