HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 63a (2) of the Forests Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area of State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, having been set apart as part of North-West Nelson State Forest Park by a Proclamation dated the 2nd day of September 1970 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 10 September 1970, at page 1596, hereby ceases to be part of North-West Nelson State Forest Park as from the date of publication hereof.

PURSUANT to section 43 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964 (as amended by section 2 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 1971), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints the members from time to time of Messrs Deloitte Haskins and Sells and Messrs Touche Ross and Company, Chartered Accountants, to be the Auditors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand for the period 1st July 1984 to 30th June 1986 inclusive.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

Title—This order may be cited as the Friends Who Care Incorporated Order 1984.

Exemption—The Friends Who Care Incorporated an organisation approved* by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the
Disabled Persons Employment Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 6 Rowe Parade, Wai-nuiomata from—
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
Commander Trevor Sevicke Jones is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 1 June 1986, with effect from 2 June 1984.
Lieutenant Commander (acting Commander) Christopher Richard Vennell, O.B.E., is placed on the Retired List in the rank of Commander, with effect from 16 June 1984.
Lieutenant Commander R. J. Gillbanks to be Commander with seniority and effect from 15 June 1984.
Lieutenant Commander (temp. Commander) A. D. Clayton-Greene to be Commander with seniority and effect from 18 June 1984.
Lieutenant Commander John Edward Tustin is placed on the Retired List with effect from 15 June 1984.
The appointment of Lieutenant Commander D. J. Turner, B.SC., is extended to 20 December 1987.
The appointment of Lieutenant S. P. Corich, B.SC., DIP.TCHG., is extended to 26 January 1991.
Lieutenant Anna Elizabeth Cutler is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 18 June 1988, with effect from 19 June 1984.
The appointment of Lieutenant Y. L. Jansen is extended to 25 January 1987.
The appointment of Lieutenant (on prob.) L. G. Morley, M.B.E., B.E.M., is confirmed.
Sub Lieutenant (on prob.) A. N. Forsyth to be Lieutenant (on prob.) with seniority from 1 January 1984 and effect from 30 May 1984.
The seniority of Sub Lieutenant (on prob.) S. M. Rennie, B.SC., is antedated to 1 January 1983.
The seniority of Ensign P. A. King is post-dated to 1 August 1982.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE
The appointment of Sub Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) (on prob.) G. L. Grenfell is confirmed.
Sub Lieutenant (on prob.) D. C. Stewart, B.E.(ELECT.); with reference to the notice published in the Gazette, 30 March 1983, No. 42, page 913, for “Ensign (on prob.)” substitute “Sub Lieutenant (on prob.)”.
