Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, Etc.
PURSUANT to a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, dated the 18th day of June 1984 directed to the Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers authorising them to proceed to the election of members of Parliament for all electoral districts within New Zealand and have fixed Thursday, the 21st day of June 1984, as the last day for the nomination of candidates, Saturday, the 14th day of July 1984, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Friday, the 3rd day of August 1984, as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
