PETROLEUM ACT 1937
PIPELINE AUTHORISATION APPLICATION

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the undersigned has applied to the Minister of Energy for a pipeline authorisation under the Petroleum Act 1937 to authorise the construction and operation of a pipeline for the conveyance of iron sands slurry and water from Waikato North Head Mine to Glenbrook Steel Mill passing through the following localities: Franklin County.

Copies of the application may be inspected at New Zealand Steel Development Offices at West Road, Glenbrook, at the offices of the Franklin County Council, at the Pukekohe Public Library and at the Waiuku Public Library.

Any person wishing to make submissions in respect of the application may do so in writing addressed to the Secretary of Energy, Ministry of Energy, Private Bag, Wellington, within 30 days of the date of this notice.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 26th day of January at Dunedin was 306.73 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 4.3 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 26th day of January 1984, until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 27th day of January at Auckland was 305.40 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 4.8 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 27th day of January 1984, until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.
