PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1983, No. 2.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

NOTICE is hereby given, that pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, set apart for the purpose of a bathing place for the common use and benefit of the Tuhourangi, Ngati Whakae and associated tribes and their invitees constituted by Order in Council dated 19 August 1964, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 51 of 17 August 1964, page 1359, is hereby cancelled.
