NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the withdrawal of the following approvals of the Minister of Customs and for the future admission of the goods at substantive rates of duty:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 9 June 1983. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

THE following amendments are hereby made to the Call for Tenders for Round 6 of import licence tendering issued on 15 April as a supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of 14 April 1983.

Substitute bids will be accepted by the Registrar of Tenders providing these are lodged before the opening of tenders on 31 May 1983 at 10 a.m. Substitute bids should be accompanied by a letter authorising the withdrawal of previous bids and clearly identifying which those bids are.

The same provision applies to amendments notified in the New Zealand Gazette of 28 April 1983, No. 57, page 1336.
