NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 27th day of April 1983, presented to the said Court by THE ACTING DISTRICT COMMISSIONER OF INLAND REVENUE; and the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 25th day of May 1983, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN PART ALLOTMENT 466, TAUPIRI PARISH, WAIKATO COUNTY, FOR A ROAD

NOTICE is given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981 to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road such land to be used in substitution for a portion of the existing unformed road.

The proposed taking is considered essential because a dwelling has been erected on the existing unformed road.

Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days after the date of this notice make an objection to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing will be heard, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND REGISTRY

All that piece of land containing 3563 square metres, part Allotment 466, Taupiri Parish and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 72, folio 81, South Auckland Registry. As shown marked B on S.O. Plan 49385, lodged in the offices of The Waikato County Council, 1 Clyde Street, Hamilton East.

A copy of the plan may also be inspected at the Hamilton offices of the Department of Lands and Survey, Westpac House, corner Victoria and Alma Streets, Hamilton.

The said piece of land is situated on Orini Road, 3 kilometres north of Taupiri Village.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council proposes to take land for a road under the Public Works Act 1981. The land is located at Moore Road, Pipiwai, is presently owned by Mr and Mrs P. R. Hing and is more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

The reasons why the Whangarei County Council considers it essential to take the land are as follows:

(a) A formed carriageway has been in existence over the land for more than 50 years.
(b) It has been used by the public as a roadway during that time.
(c) For at least part of that time it has been maintained out of public funds.
(d) It provides the only vehicular access to several large farm holdings beyond this point.
(e) The alternative route surveyed along the bank of the Hikurangi River is not a practical or economic one.

Notice is further given that plans showing the said land are deposited at the office of the Council situated at Springs Flat, Kamo and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the said work or by the taking of the said land and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North so as to reach him not later than 14 June 1983.

If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.
