AURIC FINANCE LTD., at Auckland, hereby gives notice that on the 10th day of May 1983, it appointed Jeffrey Nicholas Couch and Paul Richard Preston, both of Auckland, chartered accountants, as receivers and/or managers of the property Repro Plastics Ltd., under the provisions contained in a debenture dated the 30th day of September 1982, which property consists of all the assets and undertaking of the business operated by the said Repro Plastics Ltd., at Auckland and elsewhere.

IN THE MATTER OF THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957, and IN THE MATTER OF THE EVAN GIBB HUDSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to the High Court at Auckland by the UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND for approval of a scheme under the provisions of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 varying the provisions under which the above scholarship is administered. HAROLD WILLEY HUDSON, who died in 1934 provided by his will for the establishment of a scholarship in memory of his son EVAN GIBB HUDSON, who was killed in World War I. A variation of the terms of the scholarship was approved by the Court in 1948.

Various provisions have now become impossible or impracticable to carry out.

In particular they refer to the Auckland University College which no longer exists as such.

Also the office of President of the University which no longer exists.

There are various provisions of eligibility including a restriction that scholarships be awarded to males only.

The scholarship holder also requires to be a member of the Engineer Corps of the Territorial Forces (or its equivalent).

Under the scheme now proposed, these restrictions are sought to be removed and an up-dated and practical framework for administering the scholarship fund, adopted.

The date proposed for the hearing of the application by the Court is the 9th day of June 1983.

Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is hereby required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar, High Court, Auckland and to the Registrar, University of Auckland, Private Bag, Auckland, and to the Attorney-General, care of Crown Law Office, Wellington, not less than 7 clear days before that date.
