Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand—
Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974 as subsequently amended under section 3 in 1977, I hereby designate the Waimate Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Waimate Community Arts Council.

Lyttelton Borough Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983
I, William Francis Birch, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, hereby issue a temporary licence to the Lyttelton Borough Council to supply electricity, and to lay, construct, put up, place and use all electric lines and works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within the area specified in the Schedule hereto.
This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:
CONDITIONS

This licence may be cited as the Lyttelton Borough Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.

Those electric lines which the licensee is authorised by this licence to erect and use for the purpose of supply within the supply areas of the Christchurch City Council and the Heathcote County Council shall be used by the licensee solely for the supply of the licensee’s waterworks installations and for the supply of the consumer referred to in paragraph 3 (b) (ii) of Gazette, 1980, page 3076.

This temporary licence issued under section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968 shall be in force for a period beginning the 1st day of April 1983 and ending with the 31st day of March 1985 or the earlier issue of a licence under section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968.

The Lyttelton Borough Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983 dated the 10th day of March 1983 and published in the Gazette on 30 March 1983 at page 930 is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area described in Gazette, 1980 at page 3076 and as shown on plans marked 1000/1–3, 1007, 1008 deposited in the office of the Ministry of Energy, Electricity Division at Wellington.

The Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1983
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1983.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 4th day of October 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Taumarunui County at Omori:
Omori Road: from a point 480 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Pihanga Road to a point 1.120 kilometres measured southerly, generally, along Omori Road from Pihanga Road.
SITUATED within Taumarunui County at Pukawa Settlement:
Hauraki Terrace.
Kaiuru Avenue: from a point 250 metres measured southerly, generally, along Kaiuru Avenue from Hauraki Terrace to a point 450 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said Avenue from the said Terrace.
Waiparemo Crescent.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Taumarunui County at Omori:
Kaimanawa Street.
Kamahi Terrace.

PURSUANT to section 80 (1) of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that by virtue of an Order of the District Court at Christchurch he has been appointed manager under Part V of the Public Trust Office Act 1957 of the sum of $1,539.66 being the property of Norman Will, formerly of Christchurch but now of parts unknown.
