All that area bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the mouth of the southern branch
of the Waipoua River, in Block V, Waipoua Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly
and easterly generally up the middle of that river to its intersection with the western boundary
of Block VIII, Waipoua Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Blocks
VIII and IV, Waipoua Survey District, and easterly along the northern boundaries of Block
IV, Waipoua Survey District, and Block I, Tutamoe Survey District, and the last-mentioned
boundary produced to the middle of the Opouteke River; thence northerly along the middle
of that river to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 3, Block XV, Punakitere
Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of that section and its production
to the middle of the Mangakahia River in Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District;
thence easterly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary
of Section 3, Block XV, Punakitere Survey District; thence northerly to and along that boundary
and its production to the middle of Otaua Road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle

of that river to the confluence of the Mangakahia River; thence easterly down the middle
of that river to its confluence with the middle of the Awarua River; thence up the middle
of that river to a point due west of the southernmost corner of a parcel of land shown on S.O.
4717, 1.8013 ha (4 acres, 1 rood, 32.2 perches); thence due east along a right line to that
southernmost corner; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that parcel of land shown
on S.O. 47177 to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 11394; thence easterly along the
southern boundary of that Lot 1, the northern boundary of C.T. 329/289, D.P. 11394, and the northern
boundary of part Nukutawhiti Block, contained in C.T. 329/289, to the north-western boundary

that south-western boundary, the south-western end of a legal road, the south-western boundary

western boundary of that block to the western side of Mahia Roadway, along a right line to the

southern boundary of Whangaruru-Ngaitonga 4A6D; thence easterly generally along
that line of mean high water mark of the South Pacific Ocean; thence northerly generally along
that line of mean high water mark to the easternmost point of Section 1, Block XIIA, Bay
of Islands Survey District and to and along the eastern shores of Piercy Island to the northernmost
point of that island; thence north-westerly along a right line to the northernmost
extremity of Hareke Island in Block IX, Bay of Islands Survey District, and commencement
along the northern shore of that island and eastern-most along the line of mean high water
mark of the South Pacific Ocean to and across the mouth of the Takou River and again
along that line of mean high water mark to and westerly and south-easterly generally along
the line of mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea to the point of commencement and including
Three Kings and other adjacent islands.
