figures for balances and such securities held by that trading bank on each day during that calendar month.
(4) Government securities held by a trading bank shall consist of Government stock and Treasury bills (all at nominal value) held by that trading bank.
(5) The average demand and time deposit liabilities of a trading bank in a calendar month shall be the average of the figures for days within that calendar month, as shown in that trading bank’s weekly returns of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1975.
(6) The proceeds of any borrowings made by a trading bank pursuant to the proviso to this Notice shall be deemed to be a part of and be included in the balances held by that trading bank at the Reserve Bank on the last day of the preceding calendar month;
And the proceeds of any such borrowing shall not be included in the balances held by that trading bank at the Reserve Bank during any other calendar month.

CNG Fuel System Approvals
PURSUANT to regulation 90C of the Traffic Regulations 1976* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7) and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Trevor Alan Lister, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the component listed in the Schedule hereto for experimental purposes, subject to the conditions set out in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
THE prototype Landi-Hartog model LM 3 stage CNG regulator fitted to the Holden 202 station wagon registration number KA 365 operated by Landi-Hartog (New Zealand) Ltd. of Auckland.
Provided that all other components of the CNG fuel system fitted to the said vehicle are comprised of components approved for use with CNG fuel systems and are installed in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 2, 1980.
This approval for experimental purposes shall be limited for the period up to and including 31 October 1983.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 25 March 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Butlers Reef Country Inn.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) (Not being between 1st day of May and the 30th day of November) and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the 1st day of May and the 30th day of November and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the 1st day of May and the 30th day of November—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.
