  1. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $72 per annum.

  2. Attendance dues received by the proprietors may be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and/or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated schools.

Roman Catholic Secondary Schools—Archdiocese of Wellington and Diocese of Palmerston North (Attendance Dues) Notice 1983

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Roman Catholic secondary schools within the Archdiocese of Wellington and within the Diocese of Palmerston North owned by the Bishop of Palmerston North.


NOTICE

  1. This notice shall be cited as the Roman Catholic Secondary Schools Archdiocese of Wellington and Diocese of Palmerston North (Attendance Dues) Notice 1983.

  2. The proprietors of the following schools may enter into an agreement with parents or any other person accepting responsibility for the education of a child at any of the schools listed below requiring them to pay attendance dues:

St Peter's College, Palmerston North; St Augustine's College, Wanganui; St Bernard's College, Lower Hutt; Chanel College, Masterton; Viard College, Porirua; Hato Paora College, Feilding; St John's College, Hastings.

  1. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $210 per annum.

  2. Attendance dues received by the proprietors may be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and/or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated schools.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1983

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1983.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.*

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1983, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 3, 27 January 1983, p. 174, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Lake County at Frankton:

No. 6A State Highway (Frankton–Queenstown): from a point 180 metres, measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from McBride Street to a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Yewlett Crescent; and from a point 80 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Gray Street to a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Gray Street.
