The New Zealand South British Group Ltd. may acquire 81 per cent of the issued share capital of Diners Club (N.Z.) Ltd. from Lion Breweries Ltd.

Rangatira Ltd. may acquire all the share capital of Medic DDS Ltd.

That Lion Breweries may acquire the chattels of the Okaihau Hotel

The Fletcher Trust and Investment Company Ltd. may acquire the total shareholding of Fletcher Mainline Ltd.

Independent Newspapers Ltd. to acquire up to 40 percent of the issued capital of Autocrat Sanyo Holdings (N.Z.) Ltd.

Consumers’ Co-operative Society (Manawatu) Ltd. to acquire the Majestic Hotel at Palmerston North

Leopard Brewery Ltd. to acquire the Family Tavern at Palmerston North

Lion Breweries Ltd. and T. & W. Young Ltd. to each acquire a further 25 percent of the issued share capital in Vogel Hotels Ltd. and a similar proportion of the Naeae hotel partnership.

Fountain Corporation Ltd. to acquire all of the issued share capital in Chase Group Ltd., Chase Nominees Ltd. and Concept Projects Ltd.

Polarcold Stores (South Island) Ltd. to acquire the Timaru coolstore section of the business of South Canterbury Co-operative Cool Stores Ltd. and to acquire its subsidiaries Timaru Transport Co. Ltd. and Polarcold Storage Ltd.
