CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD—REPORT OF
ELECTORAL COMMISSION

SUBDISTRICTS REDEFINED AND RENAMED

We, Gordon Alison Guy Connal, John Fisher Davidson and Colin
Harry Russell, having been appointed by the Christchurch Drainage
Board, an Electoral Commission in pursuance of the provisions of
section 8 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, for the
purpose of considering the necessity or otherwise of renaming and
redefining the subdistricts of the said Board consequent on the
abolition of the Middleton Riding in the District of Waimairi, do
hereby report that in terms of the said section we have determined:

That the Waimairi Subdistrict be redefined in the First Schedule
to the said Act as—

“All that area being part of the Waimairi District as from
time to time constituted as lies within the Board’s district, but
excluding therefrom the Fendalton Riding of the said District
as from time to time defined.”

That the Riccarton Middleton Subdistrict be abolished and
replaced by a new subdistrict named the Riccarton Fendalton
Subdistrict, and that it be defined in the First Schedule of the
said Act as—

“All that area comprising the Borough of Riccarton as from
time to time constituted and the Fendalton Riding of the
Waimairi District as from time to time defined, as lie within
the Board’s district.”

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of the
Petroleum Act 1937, the undersigned has applied to the Minister
of Mines for a Pipeline Authorisation to convey natural gas by
pipeline from 300 mm trunk main Church Street/Fairburn Road,
Otahuhu, to regulator.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978,
notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale
Price for the sale held on the 17th day of March 1983 at Napier
was 288.40 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary
minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the
specified percentage for supplementation will be 11.0 percent for
all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from
and including the 17th day of March 1983, until midnight on the
day before the next auction sale to be held.

was 286.03 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary
minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the

all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from
and including the 18th day of March 1983, until midnight on the
day before the next auction sale to be held.

of business in New Zealand at Auckland, intends to cease to have
a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration of 3 months
from the date of first publication of this notice. The business hith-
erto carried on by The Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd. will
be continued under the name of its subsidiary, “B.H.P. New
Zealand Ltd.”.
