EXPLANATORY NOTES:
(1) Sizes have been listed in order from smallest to largest in their respective series
(2) Bias and radial tyres are shown together under their respective rim diameters.
(3) The + shows where a letter indicating the “speed rating” of a tyre may appear in the size marking, e.g., 155 + R13 incorporates 155SR13, 155HR13, and 155VR13. Most common rating letters are L, S, H, and V; but can include F, M, N, P, Q, R, T, and U (the effect of the symbol + is to disregard speed ratings).
(4) The letter “C” can also appear after the rim diameter and should be disregarded, e.g., 185R14C 500-16C
(5) Group markings occur and vary according to country of origin. If a size incorporated in a group marking appears in the list of sizes in TDL 385, the tyre or tube with group marking is deemed to be included in TDL 385, e.g., 575/600/640-15 includes the sizes 575-15, 600-15, and 640-15
(6) Any mud and snow tyres in the sizes listed may be entered at the concessionary rate of duty EXCEPT where indicated by the symbol [*] | 10 | Free | .. | 207712E | 1/81 | 6/84 |
