Declaring Land in Roadway Laid Out in the City of Manukau to be Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 6th day of June 1947, to be road, and to be vested in The Manukau City Council.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 2 roods 1 perch, situated in the City of Manukau, and being Ruaiti Roadway being part Allotments 196 and 197C, Parish of Manurewa; as shown coloured red on M.L. Plan 13405, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.


Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of February 1983.

Revoking a Warrant Declaring an Area of Land in the Hawera Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the warrant published on the 4th day of April 1957*, notifying and declaring an area of land to be a wildlife refuge.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of February 1983.

Declaration That State Forest Land Ceases to be Part of North-west Nelson State Forest Park

At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of February 1983.

PRESENT:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 63B (2) of the Forests Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area of State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, having been set apart as part of North-west Nelson State Forest Park by a proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette, of 1970, page 1596 hereby ceases to be part of North-west Nelson State Forest Park as from the date of publication hereof.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—WAIMEA COUNTY

9.7934 hectares, more or less, being part Section 25 and part Section 26, Block XIV, Wangapeka Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1970 page 1596–7, as shown on plan M28/17 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Appointing Deputy Members of the Water Resources Council

Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the appointment of:

Keith McPherson Dunning of Wellington, retired, as deputy to Edward Michael Coulson Fowler;

and hereby appoint

Barrie James Murphy of Wellington, engineer, as deputy to Edward Michael Coulson Fowler;

and

Beryl Ann Ranger, an officer of the Ministry of Transport, as deputy to Robin Paul Taylor,

to be deputy members of the Water Resources Council from and including the date of this appointment.
