(A) ANZCERT: CER Ex NAFTA Special Licences 1983/84 (Licence Type 11)

In terms of Article 5, paragraph 18 of ANZCERT exclusive access for goods under NAFTA has been maintained additional to the ANZCERT access formulae.

Under Article 20, Paragraph 2 of ANZCERT the Australian Government for the 1983/84 and 1984/85 import licensing years has retained the right, for certain product categories, to nominate the Australian exporters and amounts of licence allocated, as was previously the case under Schedule A of NAFTA.

Following the 1984/85 licence period New Zealand will take over the licence issue procedures in 1985/86 for these goods on the same basis as (B).
