PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Clutha County) Notice No. 1, 1983.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the northern boundary of Oamaru Borough to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, along the highway from the northern boundary of Oamaru Borough.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Amuri County at Rotherham:

No. 70 State Highway (Kaikoura-Culverden): from a point 100 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Mount Palm Road to a point 450 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Mount Palm Road.

Heaton Street: from the No. 70 State Highway (Kaikoura-Culverden) to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Wilkin Street.

Wilkin Street: from a point 150 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said street from Heaton Street to a point 230 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said street from Heaton Street.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (New Plymouth City) Notice No. 1, 1983.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within New Plymouth City:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth), the Northern Outlet, also known as “Northgate”: from a point 60 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Waiwaka Terrace to a point 70 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Devon Street East.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within New Plymouth City:
