Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road, Part State Highway No. 3

IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated
16 November 1983 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works
Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 3, Sanson
to Awahuri section, for half its width on the northern side from the
junction of the western boundary of part Section 45, Town of Sandon
(C.T. 385/205) and the highway and extending eastwards for 100
metres as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan 44/44/5 and
accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer,
Ministry of Works and Development, Palmerston North and there
available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2,
Maungatawhiri Valley Road to Maramarua River, for half its width
on the northern side from the junction of the western boundary of
part Allotment 186, Parish of Koheroa (C.T. 52D/335) and the
highway and extending eastwards for 400 metres across the frontages
of part Allotment 186 and Lot 1, D.P. 97026 (C.T. 52c/1487), as
more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan No. 14/32/9 and
accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer,
Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland South, and there
available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

PURSUANT to sub-section (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act
1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is
being circulated.

This document is a draft amendment to NZS 6741: section
2.6:1979 which will adopt the British amendment No. 2 (AMD 4218)
to BS 4533: Section 2.6:1979.

Section 2.6 of NZS 6741 (BS 4533) has no counterpart in the
proposed new edition, DZ 6705 (IEC 598) Luminaires; but is a
separate standard, IEC 570, which can stand alone when other parts
of NZS 6741 are withdrawn.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who
desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards
Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23
Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 29 February 1984.
