Land Acquired for Water Supply Purposes in Block VI,
Akatarawa Survey District, City of Upper Hutt

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired for water supply purposes and shall vest in The
Wellington Regional Council on the 1st day of December 1983.

Sewer Drainage Easement Over Land Acquired for Ministry of
Works and Development Staff Housing in the Borough of
Ohakune

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the sewer drainage easement described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, for Ministry of Works
and Development staff housing, over the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto on the 1st day of December 1983.

FIRST SCHEDULE
Description of Easement

THE full, free, uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty, and
privilege for the Crown and its servants and agents from time to
time and at all times to lay a line of pipes to drain, discharge, or
convey sewage and other waste material and fluid in any quantities
under and through the land described in the Second Schedule and
the full, free, uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty, and
privilege for the Crown, her servants, agents, and workmen, with
any tools, implements, machinery, vehicles, or equipment of what-
soever nature necessary for the purpose, to enter upon the land
described in the Second Schedule and to remain there for any
reasonable time for the purpose of laying, inspecting, cleansing,
repairing, maintaining and renewing the said line of pipes or any
part thereof and of opening up the soil of that land to such extent
as may be necessary and reasonable in that regard, subject to the
condition that as little disturbance as possible is caused to the sur-
face of the land and that the surface is restored as nearly as possible
to its original condition and any other damage done by reason of
the aforesaid operations is repaired.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Land over which Easement is Acquired

ALL that piece of land containing 6 square metres, situated in Block
VIII, Makotuku Survey District, being part Section 11, Block VIII,
Town of Ohakune; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 33488, lodged
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington.
