Resumption of Duties by Governor-General
His Excellency the Governor-General announces that as from 8.05 a.m. today,
he has resumed the performance of all the functions of the office of Governor-
General.
Accordingly as from 8.05 a.m. today, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith
Davison, G.B.E., C.M.G., Chief Justice, who assumed office as the Administrator
of the Government as from 2.35 p.m. on the 18th day of November 1983, as
evidenced by a Proclamation issued under the Seal of New Zealand on the
18th day of November 1983, has relinquished office as the Administrator of
the Government. (By command.)
