PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978,
notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale
Price for the sale held on the 18th day of November 1983 at
Invercargill was 286.27 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum
wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified
percentage for supplementation will be 11.8 percent for all wool
sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and
including the 18th day of November 1983, until midnight on the
day before the next auction sale to be held.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Attorney-General has approved a
scheme by the Dannevirke Borough Council in which surplus monies
accrued in the Skating Rink Trust Fund be applied to upgrading
the learners pool at the Coronation Baths, Dannevirke, after payment
of reasonable costs and expenses incurred in the preparation and
consideration of the scheme.

THE Title of which is as follows:

An Act to enable The New Plymouth High School Board as trustee
of the residuary estate of Evelyn Love Dowling, out of a fund
established by her Will,—

(a) To continue to benefit pupils and former pupils of the New
Plymouth Boys High School, notwithstanding that that
school has ceased to be under the jurisdiction of the Board; and

(b) To continue to benefit pupils and former pupils of the New
Plymouth Girls High School and of Spotswood College,
whether or not that school or college continues to be under
the jurisdiction of the Board; and

(c) To benefit pupils and former pupils of any other secondary
school that may hereafter come under the jurisdiction of
the Board, whether or not it continues to be under that
jurisdiction.

Notice is hereby given of the intention of The New Plymouth
High School Board to apply for leave to introduce into Parliament
during the present session a Private Bill intituled as above. The
objects of the Bill are as set out in the foregoing title.

Mountains and Fiords of Otago, published by the Government
Printer in 1898, has been thoughtfully included to round off this
glimpse into our past.
