Additional Land Acquired for a Secondary School in the Borough of Waitara and the County of Clifton

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the interest described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby acquired, together with the rights of way created by transfers 102260 and 142729, and subject, as to the land described in the First Schedule, to the right to convey water created by transfer 302985.2, for a secondary school, and shall vest in the Crown on the 17th day of November 1983.

FIRST SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3.2258 hectares, situated in Blocks I and V, Waitara Survey District, being Lot 1, D.P. 14008, being part Sections 12, 13, and 14, Waitara East District. Part certificate of title, No. G1/316.

SECOND SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

An undivided one-third share in all that piece of land containing 3458 square metres, situated partly in the Borough of Waitara and partly in Block I, Waitara Survey District, being Lot 1, D.P. 14007, being part Section 13, Waitara East District. Part certificate of title, No. G1/316.

Mosgiel Borough—Silverpeaks County Boundaries Definition Notice 1983

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Mosgiel Borough—Silverpeaks County Boundaries Definition Notice 1983.

  2. The boundaries of Mosgiel Borough and Silverpeaks County are hereby defined as set out in the Schedules hereto, those boundaries having been altered by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 November 1982, No. 128, page 3608 and which came into force on 1 April 1983.

FIRST SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF MOSGIEL BOROUGH

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing 787 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 22, D.P. 254, situated in Block II, East Taieri Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 22 to 27, inclusive, D.P. 254, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Lot 27, D.P. 254, and its production to the westernmost corner of Lot 18, D.P. 254; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 18 and Lot 9, D.P. 254, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the Main South Railway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 16188; thence south-easterly to and along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and Lots 2 and 5 to 14, inclusive, D.P. 16188, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned lot;
