Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 10 November 1983. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff Item, and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Notice by Examiner of Commercial Practices of Consent to a Merger and Takeover Proposal

NOTICE is hereby given that the Examiner of Commercial Practices has consented to the following merger and takeover proposal pursuant to the provisions of Section 811 of the Commerce Act.

Proposal

Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the issued capital of Quill Humphreys Ltd.
