Passengers embarking at Wellington or Picton for journeys by rail ferry only, may check their baggage at the railway station prior to departure of the ship for collection at the railway station at Picton or Wellington as the case may be. Baggage checked under this provision must be delivered to Wellington or Picton railway station as applicable not less than two hours before sailing time.
