PURSUANT to section 69 of the Commerce Act 1975, notice is hereby given that the Examiner of Commercial Practices has consented to the following merger and takeover proposals.

Fletcher Merchants Ltd., to acquire all of the share capital of Scott Commercial Ltd., and the Koratone plant operated by Scott Industries Ltd. This consent is subject to conditions providing for non-discriminatory trading in relation to Koratone products and continuation of supply to end users, to the maintenance of arms length trading between Fletcher Merchants Ltd., and Fletcher Wood Panels Ltd., and to the continued employment of employees transferred from the Scott group
