Revocation of Harbourmaster

Pursuant to sections 6 and 42 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby revokes the appointment of—

Edgar Gerald Boyack

as harbourmaster for the Port of Waverley*, Tarakohe Harbour†, Fiordland Harbour‡, and Otago Inland Harbours§.

Member of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board Appointed

Pursuant to sections 4 and 5 of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Act 1965, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to re-appoint

the Hon. Sir Graham Speight, of Auckland

to be a member and chairman of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board, and to appoint

Dorothea Jean Horsman, J.P., of Dunedin

to be a member of the Trust Board, each for a term of office of 6 years, with effect from 27 September 1983.

Acting Nominated Member of the Arbitration Court Appointed

Pursuant to section 42 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by section 3 of the Industrial Relations Amendment Act 1977), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Minister of Labour, has been pleased to appoint

Judith Mary Reid of Auckland, trade union secretary

to be, in respect of each nominated member of the Arbitration Court appointed under section 33 (1) (d) of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by the said section 3), an acting nominated member of the Arbitration Court (in which capacity the said Judith Mary Reid shall, in accordance with section 43 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by the said section 3), hold office for a term of 5 years from the 3rd day of September 1983).
