Gas Act 1982—Uneconomic Supply—Interest on Capital Cost of Extension

It is hereby determined that the interest on the capital cost of the extension under section 39 (1) (b) of the Gas Act 1982 is reduced from 16.5 percent per annum to 13.5 percent per annum.

Notice of Intention to Declare National Reserves

In terms of section 13 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies his intention to establish the Auckland, Campbell, Antipodes and Bounty Islands Nature Reserves as National reserves.

Details of the proposal are available for inspection at any office of the Department of Lands and Survey. Any person or organisation wishing to object or make a submission in support or suggestion on the proposal should do so before 31 January 1984 and forward these in writing to the Director-General of Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Private Bag, Wellington.

Submissions may be published in full or part without further consultation with the authors.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve, over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Kaiapoi Borough Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
