Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Wanganui Regional Community College Notice 1983

PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Wanganui Regional Community College Notice 1983.

2. (2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

3. In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “region” means that part of the North Island of New Zealand within the counties of Patea, Waitotara, Waimarino, Wanganui, Rangitikei, the boroughs of Patea, Raetihi, Ohakune, Marton, Taihape, and the city of Wanganui.

4. There shall be a board of governors, to be known as the Wanganui Regional Community College Council, which shall control the Wanganui Regional Community College.

5. The Wanganui Regional Community College Council shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed jointly by the Patea County Council, the Patea Borough Council, the Waitotara County Council and the Waverley Town Council;

(b) One member appointed jointly by the Raetihi Borough Council, the Ohakune Borough Council, the Waimarino County Council and the Waiouru Community Council;

(c) One member appointed jointly by the Rangitikei County Council, the Marton Borough Council and the Taihape Borough Council;

(d) One member appointed jointly by the Wanganui City Council and the Wanganui County Council;

(e) One member appointed by Federated Farmers of New Zealand, Wanganui Provincial District Inc;

(f) One member appointed jointly by the Wellington Regional Employers’ Association Incorporated (Wanganui Branch), the Wanganui Chamber of Commerce and the Wellington Manufacturers Association (Wanganui Branch);

(g) One member appointed by the Aotea District Maori Council;

(h) One member appointed by the National Council of Women from branches within the region after consultation with
